Accepted for Deposit in the Microbial Type Culture Collection (MTCC) & Gene Bank
The Microbial Type Culture Collection (MTCC) & Gene Bank is a national microbial repository in India, jointly funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India.
MTCC’s mission is to preserve and provide authentic microbial cultures and to offer related services to researchers in universities, research institutions, and industry.
MTCC Deposit for Sabinsa’s Strain.
The microbial culture submitted by the Sami-Sabinsa Group (Bangalore) was accepted for deposit in MTCC–IDA. It was assigned MTCC 5856 and preserved in MTCC’s patent collection on September 19, 2013.
